Adaptive Sports Volunteer Training

Become a volunteer with the Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports Program!  Training and orientation for ALL volunteers (alpine & nordic) will be held at the Ski Area Base Lodge on Saturday, Nov. 10 beginning at 9 a.m.

In other news, Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports recently announced that Kim Sawka has joined the team as the new Director of Program Operations.  Kim will be working through the winter ski season as well as the summer season to build a summer program.  In addition, Jim Waddell has been hired as the new Assistant Director.  Kim and Jim will handle all aspects of program operations at the mountain. Kathy Chandler, founder of the Adaptive Sports program, will be handling all aspects of volunteer training, PSIA certification, and outside relations with national and local organizations as the Director of Community Outreach and Training. When not directing training, Kathy will be working primarily off-site, promoting the program and raising awareness of the Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports program.
