“Art of Flight” Movie Premiere Features NH Riders

October 30, 2011

New Hampshire may be the antithesis of Tinseltown, but on Oct. 19 the Portsmouth Music Hall was filled to capacity for a Hollywoodesque movie premiere of one of the most talked about new snowboard films of the year, “The Art of Flight.”

The movie follows some of the best riders in the world – including Waterville Valley‘s own Pat Moore and Seabrook’s Scotty Lago – as they complete a two-year adventure riding and filming in non-traditional locales like Alaska and Patagonia.  This movie isn’t so much about extreme snowboarding tricks and stunts, but more about breathtaking and stunning visual shots using state-of-the-art cinematography equipment.

Check out photos (lots WVers in attendance!) and read more about the Portsmouth Premiere of “The Art of Flight” here at Snowboardermag.com.
