Boarding 4 Breast Cancer Event Comes to Waterville Valley on February 3, 2013

Dollars for hope: Event to raise awareness and funds

Waterville Valley Resort will be going “pink” on Sunday, February 3, 2013 in an effort to support breast cancer fundraising and awareness through Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC). Waterville Valley will donate $1 for every lift ticket sold on February 3 to help fund breast cancer research, awareness and prevention.

This is the 8th year that Waterville Valley has teamed up with B4BC to help reach their objective of … Early Detection + Healthy Lifestyle = Best Prevention.

This year a percentage of money raised through the B4BC event will be donated to the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition.  This not-for-profit foundation’s mission is to advocate for and provide assistance to New Hampshire residents with breast cancer.  The NHBCC believes that education is essential to eradicating breast cancer.

Waterville Valley’s Base Lodge Sunroom will be packed with product for lucky winners of the product raffle; tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10.  You do not need to be present to win.  Get your name or the name of a loved one affected by breast cancer on the “Wall of Ribbons,” or participate in the Pink Rail Jam with all proceeds donated!  Great prizes will be awarded thanks to generous sponsor donations.

Show support by wearing something pink to turn Waterville Valley Resort pink for the day. There will also be special offers around the mountain to celebrate the day in the Base Lodge and T-Bars.
