Brunvand Named ‘Innkeeper of the Year’

Congratulations to Tor Brunvand, owner of the Best Western Silver Fox in Waterville Valley, for being named Innkeeper of the Year by the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association.

Tor was among seven people honored at a Stars of the Industry Awards Dinner on Monday, Nov. 17.  Governor Maggie Hassan addressed the group prior to the dinner.

New Hampshire’s 2014 Stars of the Industry include:​

Restaurateur of the Year: Eric Goodwin, The Friendly Toast

Innkeeper of the Year: Tor Brunvand, Best Western Silver Fox Inn

Chef of the Year: Stuart Cameron, Hanover Street Chophouse

Allied Member of the Year: Anthony W. Bussiere, PFG Northcenter

Restaurant Employee of the Year: Claudette Wintle, Hudson T-Bones

Lodging Employee of the Year: Luann McAndrews, The Common Man Inn & Spa

Educator of the Year: Perrin Long, Portsmouth High School
