End of Summer Bash Photos

September 1, 2013

Today is the last hurrah of summer – the Just Ducky End of Summer Bash in Waterville Valley’s Town Square.  We anticipated a good sized crowd would be in the square to participate in the family activities, scavenger hunt, duck race, etc., so I volunteered to help man (er, should I say ‘woman’!) the Information Booth along with my daughter, Jenna, and her popular sidekick, Willow the German Shepherd.

The nature of my ‘real’ job has me tied to a desk – a desk jockey tapping away on a keyboard for hours on end – so, it was especially nice to get outside on this gorgeous day and chat with so many nice, happy people.

I snapped a bunch of photos, ranging from the families who completed the Waterville Valley Scavenger Hunt, to the set-up crew preparing for a wedding that took place this afternoon in the Town Square gazebo.  Hopefully, most of you reading this post were in Waterville Valley in person enjoying this fabulous day.  If not, then enjoy these images and plan to join us in the Valley sometime this fall or winter – or next spring or summer!
