Everyone had a ghoulishly good time

October 29, 2013

Last weekend the Waterville Valley community celebrated Halloween in a variety of ways.  The local Pemi Valley Chamber of Commerce put a costumed twist on their annual membership awards dinner by making it a Masquerade Ball.  The dinner/ball was held at the Waterville Valley Conference Center on Friday evening and featured dancing to music by the Lakes Region Big Band.  The Masquerade Ball was well attended and loads of fun.  Check out some photos from the ball.  Recognize any Waterville Valley faces?

On Saturday, there were two big events – one for the kids and one for the kids-at-heart!  The annual Halloween costume party and trick-or-treat by schuss bus was held at the Recreation Department and attracted a number of little ghouls!

The band, Back on the Train, warmed up the crowd at the Lantern restaurant on Saturday night prior to hypnotist/comedian Frank Santos, Jr. taking the stage.  Santos entertained the packed house with his show.  Check out the photos (don’t worry…none are R-rated!).
