Former Waterville Valley Police Officer Promoted

October 15, 2012

Congratulations to Chad Blake on his recent promotion to sergeant in the Amherst, NH police department.  Chad is a former Waterville Valley police officer and son of our Waterville Valley postmistress, Ann Whitehouse.

According to the The Amherst Patch, “Senior Patrolman Chad Blake was sworn in as the newest sergeant after 11 years of service in the department.

“Amherst Police Chief Peter Lyon said that he has set himself apart with his training and excelled on his testing. He is “very happy” to see him promoted.

“Blake lives with his family in Concord, and previously worked for the police department in Waterville Valley. He is excited to have his hard work pay off and to begin his new role at the department.

“The first thing is to become a student, I have a lot of learning,” he said.”
