Every year on June 21, skateboarders around the globe celebrate Go Skateboarding Day by blowing off all other obligations to go skateboarding.
In Waterville Valley Go Skateboarding Day kicks off at noon in the Town Square Skate Park with a barbecue, music and skating. Go Skateboarding Day is an event for all ages and abilities from rad dads and moms, to groms, buzzards, and everyone in between. Impromptu games of SKATE, High Ollie Contests and more will be going on throughout the day. Coaches from the Waterville Valley Skateboard Camp will be on hand skating, giving tips and handing out free product from Arnette, Coal and Progression Board Shop.
So come up and skate all day or for just a few hours on this global “holiday!”
Finding Town Square: Once in Waterville Valley, turn left onto Village Road. The Town Square Skate Park will be on your right and is accessible through the parking area. Plenty of parking is available!
