The Waterville Valley Athletic & Improvement Association (aka WVAIA) is hosting a GUIDED HIKE to Lost Pass on Saturday, June 15, 2013.  Meet at 9 a.m. at Town Square gazebo and plan on returning by 4-5 p.m.

These two pictures were taken during a recent scouting of the trail and show the remote qualities of this unique hike, located right in Waterville Valley.

The ascent will be via Cascade Path and Cascade Brook X-C ski trail to the Woodbury Trail.  You will hike into the pass and return via the same route. The Woodbury Trail is a unique back country X-C ski trail that has no blazing and is on no maps. This is not a bushwhack but there may be blow downs and footing may be rough and wet in areas. Considering also the distance, this is a somewhat challenging hike.

Bring plenty of water, snacks and lunch.
