Jeff is from Long Island, NY. His first visit to Waterville Valley was in the early 1970s when his family vacationed here one summer.
“My family loved the Valley so much that we decided to return for a ski vacation. After that we were all hooked on skiing and Waterville Valley and my parents bought a vacation home,” Jeff explained.
His folks retired to their vacation home in the late 70s. After Jeff graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in architecture and real estate, he decided to move to Waterville Valley, too. “Waterville Valley offers a remarkable lifestyle for people of all ages,” Jeff noted.
Jeff joined our real estate team in 1981. He’s past president of the local realtor’s association, and was named “Realtor of the Year” by the Pemi Baker Board of Realtors. Jeff has served on the Town of Thornton Planning Board, and serves on the board of the Bridge House Shelter in Plymouth.
Jeff and his wife Jayne live in Thornton – a few short miles from Waterville Valley. “I feel so lucky to live in this area. Every day that I drive to the office, I feel like I’m on vacation. Now my family enjoys Waterville Valley as much as my parents and brothers did,” he added.
“What makes Waterville Valley so appealing is that it offers a slower paced lifestyle than the urban areas. There’s no stress here. Whatever you choose to do – ski, snowshoe, fish, hike, sit on the beach at Corcoran Pond and read, gaze at the stars, or nothing at all – there’s something for everyone in the Valley.”
