Plethora of packages get mention in “Travel Weekly”

September 12, 2009

It’s a big deal to get a mention in “Travel Weekly,” the national newspaper of the American travel industry. On Sept. 9, Felicity Long wrote in the online publication:

Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire unveiled nine Stay and Ski packages for the upcoming ski season.

A Snow-vember/December Kick-off deal, for example, includes two nights’ accommodations and two all-day lift tickets from $77 per person per night, double. The special is valid from Nov. 1 to Dec. 20.

The resort also has initiated a late checkout time of 3 p.m., good on all nonholiday packages for the 2009-10 season.

“This latest perk allows guests to take the shuttle to the mountain and enjoy Sunday-morning prime time on the ski slopes,” said Jim Wefers, president of the Waterville Valley Resort Association.
