Waterville Valley Community Clean-Up

April 10, 2010

The melting snow has uncovered a winter’s worth of roadside litter.  Let’s beautify our town as summer approaches!

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 28 (rain date of Wednesday, May 5).  The Town of Waterville Valley and the Waterville Valley Elementary School invites all community members, business and organizations to participate in the annual Community Clean-Up.

Meet at the Rec. Dept. on Noon Peak Road at 1 p.m. to pick-up trash bags and get your clean-up route assignment.  Dress for an active afternoon outdoors.  Then, meet back at the Rec. Dept. at 3 p.m. for snacks, refreshments and a thank you gift for helping.

In addition to the town and school, thanks go out to ABODE Builders of New England, Inc. and Litter-Free New Hampshire who are sponsoring the event.
