27 Years Ago Today…

Twenty-seven years ago today the nation’s first teacher in space – a beautiful young mother from Concord, New Hampshire named Christa McAuliffe – was killed in the space shuttle Challenger explosion just 73 seconds after lifting off at Kennedy Space Center.
