Here’s Pete Sununu with the Blizzard Update for April 2, 2013!
Mother Nature is on our side as we head into another weekend at Waterville Valley Resort where 6″ blanketed the mountain on April Fool’s Day. Thanks to some cooperative weather and tons of support from our faithful skiers, the season has been extended through April 14. There’s still plenty of snow on Mt. Tecumseh and heaps of events on tap this weekend.
Test the waters on Saturday, April 6, with Extreme Pond Skimming then stick around for the Last Run Luau sponsored by the fine folks at Newcastle. Don’t miss local legend Stas and Bob King serenading soggy skiers throughout the day on Saturday in the courtyard.
It’s off to the Conference Center on Saturday evening for the Waterville Valley Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner at 6 p.m. Longtime Waterville supporter Jack Williams and Volvo are two of this year’s honorees. Tickets are only $50, so call Laurie at 1-800-GO-VALLEY to reserver your spot or visit waterville.com for more information on all things Waterville Valley Resort.
