Chili Challenge Results

September 29, 2014

What a fine day for the 16th annual Chili Challenge at Waterville Valley!  On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Town Square was packed with leaf peepers and story enthusiasts.  The sun was shining, the temperatures were unseasonably warm, the brew tent was stocked with beer, and the scent of chili was in the air.

The 2014 people’s choice for Chili Champion was Chef Woody from The Lantern restaurant.  Woody took home $200 in cash.  The Blue Moon Cafe won best decorated table taking home $50!  Chef Mudge’s pumpkin chili from the Waterville Valley Conference Center was also a huge hit.
