Community Lenten Series

March 7, 2014

The Waterville Valley community is invited to join with our neighbors in the Plymouth region to explore different spiritual practices in the season of Lent – the seven weeks of preparation for the Easter celebration.

This Community Lenten Series is being offered by four local churches and all are welcome and encouraged to attend – including children.  All sessions are on Tuesdays from 5:30-7 p.m. and include a simple supper.

March 11, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit (Griswold Hall, 263 Highland Street).  The Rev. Grace Burson, “Praying in Color.”

March 18, 2014 at Plymouth United Methodist Church (334 Fairgrounds Road).  Lois Grant, “Christian Yoga.”

March 25, 2014 at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Parish (11 School Street). Deacon Mike Guy leads the Stations of the Cross.

April 1, 2014 at Plymouth United Methodist Church.  Diane Randall, “Spiritual Storytelling.”

April 8, 2014 at Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.  Rev. Paulo Franca (of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ), “Being Human: A Lenten Practice.”

If in doubt whether a program will be held in inclement weather, call 603-966-1490.
