What would the holidays be without cookies?! Seriously. I can’t imagine Christmas without baking, eating and graciously receiving homemade cookie gifts. I don’t discriminate. They can be sugar cookie cut-outs, Tollhouse cookies, bonbons, snickerdoodles, gingerbread men, pfeffernüsse, thumbprints, Mexican snowdrops…
New this year, the Waterville Valley Recreation Department is hosting a Holiday Cookie Swap & Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to all.
Bake four dozen of your favorite holiday cookies and bring them to the Rec. Dept. on Noon Peak Road to share with others. The Rec. Dept. will provide a yummy lunch. Enjoy good food, some social time, then fill your box of cookies to take home for the holidays!
Preregistration is required by Friday, Dec. 6. Call the Rec. Dept. at 603-236-4695 or stopping by their office on Noon Peak Road.
