Farewell Nelson and Suzanne

March 12, 2019

Stop by the Recreation Department on Friday, March 15, at 3 p.m., for cake and ice cream and to say farewell to Nelson and Suzanne.

On April 1st the duo are setting off for Seward, Alaska. They estimate it will take 25 days and over 5,000 miles of driving. Once they arrive in Alaska, Nelson and Suzanne will be working for Kayak Adventures Worldwide in Seward. Nelson will be a sea kayaking guide and Suzanne will be the logistics coordinator. Their main paddle is to the Aialik Glacier in the Kenai Fjords.

Nelson and Suzanne are avid outdoor enthusiasts and Nelson is an amazing photographer. You can follow their adventures on Instagram (@nelson_brown) and on Nelson’s photo blog.

I can’t wait to live vicariously through their adventures. Waterville Valley will miss you, Nelson and Suzanne! Best wishes and safe travels.
