Farewell Open House for Jack Ebert, “The Cable Guy”

January 11, 2012

The Waterville Valley community is invited to attend an Open House to say thank you and farewell to Jack Ebert – The Cable Guy – on Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Speakeasy at the Waterville Valley Conference Center.  There will be assorted appetizers, coffee, soft drinks, and a cash bar.

Jack has ably run Waterville Valley’s cable television system, SkiSat, for the last 18 years.  Jack was SkiSat’s sole employee and, as a one-man-show, he was both general manager of the system and the chief (and only!) technician.  Unless he was on vacation, Jack was available and on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Oftentimes, you could call SkiSat with a technical issue, and Jack would appear at your home or condominium within minutes of the call.

Please join us on Jan. 31 as we say farewell and bon voyage to Jack as he and his wife, Fran, retire to their home in Mexico.
