First Tracks

November 1, 2011

At the end of last week, the weather forecasters were having a field day prepping us for a record-setting early season nor’easter.  One TV meteorologist was giggling – squealing, actually – with delight!

We got about 6 inches of heavy wet snow here in Waterville Valley.  Amazingly, most of it is still on the ground.

A few hearty souls trekked up Mt. Tecumseh to catch first tracks of the season.  Take a look at these pics I pulled off the Waterville Valley Resort Facebook page.
