Food Pantry Donation

January 23, 2013

There is a state-wide food drive going on right now with the theme, “Hunger Doesn’t End After the Holidays,” in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Thanks to our Waterville Valley friends and neighbors and my colleagues here at Waterville Valley Realty, yesterday we were able to make a donation of nearly 100 non-perishable food items to the Campton Area Resource Center.  CARC is a non-profit thrift shop and food pantry serving Campton, NH and the surrounding areas.

The CARC volunteers were thrilled and very grateful for the food donation.  Remember, hunger doesn’t end after the  holidays…if you are able, please consider making donations of food or money to your local food pantry.  If you’re in the Waterville Valley region, donations may be left at CARC, located at 12 Six Flags Road – below Handyman Hardware store.  CARC is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
