Guided Snowshoe Hike

February 21, 2013

WVAIA, Waterville Valley’s outdoor club, is offering a free guided snowshoe hike of the Tri-Town Yellowjacket Loop on Saturday, Feb. 23.  Meet at the Town Square gazebo for a 9 a.m. departure.

WVAIA volunteer Gary Moak will lead you on this easy 3.3 mile woodland hike at low elevation, making a loop consisting of the Tri-Town, Yellow Jacket, and Pine Flats Trails.   These are fairly flat trails, often used for cross-country skiing, and the footing is excellent.
