Waterville Valley celebrates Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4th with its annual hometown parade. Everyone is invited to participate in this fun event. Send the kids to Packard Field on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. to decorate their bikes and scooters (decorations provided). Decorate your car or create a float and meet at the Conference Center parking lot at 10:30 a.m. The parade starts at 11 a.m.
Ice Cream Social
Bring the whole crew to the Recreation Department for an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, July 4, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Choose from up to 15 toppings and build your own sundae for just $5.
Music on the Fourth
There will be a free outdoor concert featuring the Bob Pratte Band in Town Square from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
Waterville Valley’s famous fireworks show will light up the sky on the 4th of July at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks are best viewed from the Town Square.
Fourth of July Party
Waterville Valley’s outdoor club, WVAIA, is hosting its annual Fourth of July Party on Wednesday, July 4, from 4:30-8 p.m. at the Waterville Valley Golf Clubhouse. A delicious dinner is planned. There will be a cash bar and potluck dessert table. All are welcome. Admission is $25 for WVAIA members, $35 for non-members (cash or check only).
Movie on the Beach
Watch the family-friendly movie “Ferdinand” on an outdoor big screen at Corcoran Pond Beach on Friday, July 6, from 8:30-10 p.m. Admission is free and open to all. Popcorn, beverages and snacks will be sold. Park cars in the Town Square lots and walk through the courtyard to get to the beach.
Independence Family Carnival
On Saturday, July 7, head to Town Square from 12-4 p.m. for the annual Independence Family Carnival. There will be games, a 100-foot obstacle course, inflatables, face painting, t-shirt tie-dying, live music, a barbecue and more.
Enjoy a raw bar and music at the Waterville Valley Golf Clubhouse on Saturday, July 7. All are welcome.
