Intro to Cycling, Gentle Stretch

October 23, 2018

As the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping, folks are changing their workouts to work-ins – especially in the weeks before snowsports start!

Here in Waterville Valley, we’re lucky to have at our disposal a multi-million dollar indoor athletic club, a Recreation Department, and programs like yoga, pickleball, indoor cycling and gentle stretch classes.

Karen Lemone is back at the Recreation Department offering Intro Cycling and Gentle Stretch on Wednesday afternoons from 3:15-4 p.m. Class starts with 15-20 minutes of easy cycling to great music. It’s easy on the joints, burns calories, increases cardio fitness and releases those all important (especially at this time of year) endorphins.

The second half of Karen’s class is 15-20 minutes of gentle stretch by video while standing with support.

ALL are welcome (although the number of bikes is limited, so arrive early). Class costs just $5, and it’s free with a Native ID.  The Native ID is available for free to ALL Waterville Valley property owners.  Non-property owners can purchase a Native ID online
