Labor Day Weekend Happenings

As we are coming up on Labor Day…a beloved three day weekend…the last holiday weekend of summer…the final hurrah…I hope your plans include spending time in Waterville Valley.

Outdoor pursuits beckon. Golf, tennis, hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, scenic chairlift rides, ResortBoards and Onewheels. And, as always, there are a number of family-friendly activities on tap.  See the schedule below.

Friday, Aug. 31 – REY CENTER ASTRONOMY DAY

9-10:15am   Yoga with Helen – Town Square Yoga Studio (2nd level)
10am-3pm   Daytime Telescope Use, Ongoing Astronomy Presentations – Curious George Cottage
11am-12pm   Curious George Story Time – Recreation Department
12-2pm   Kids S.T.E.A.M. Activity: Telescopes – Curious George Cottage
1-3pm   Pickleball (Open Play) – Recreation Department
6-7pm   Astronomy Presentation with Al Larsson – Curious George Cottage

Saturday, Sept. 1 

8-9am   Boot Camp – Recreation Department
9am-1pm   Get to Know Waterville Valley – A number of organizations will be represented in Town Square and invite you to learn more about them and their offerings
9:30-11am   Tot Open Gym – Recreation Department
10am-1pm   Bear Factory – Recreation Department
11am-12:30pm   Open Gym – Recreation Department
12-2pm   Kids S.T.E.A.M. Activity – Curious George Cottage
1-3pm   Pickleball (Experienced Play) – Recreation Department
