Mountain Clean-up, Pig Roast Barbecue

May 30, 2018

Head to Waterville Valley Ski Resort on Saturday, June 2, for a community clean-up day followed by a pig roast barbecue. Pick-up gloves and trash bags at the base of Green Peak lift starting at 9:30 a.m.

Sunnyside and Valley Run Triple chairlifts will be spinning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. providing access up Mt. Tecumseh. As you walk down the trails, pick-up the winter detritus.  If you don’t feel like walking down from the summit, your help is still appreciated.  Grab a trash bag and gloves and help pick-up around the base area and in the parking lots.

The bag of trash you collect is your ticket to a free pig roast barbecue with all the fixin’s on Buckets deck at 1 p.m.  There will be music, games, cool drinks, $1 brews, and of course, Matt Hesser’s famous barbecue.

It’s New Hampshire and the weather can be fickle, so a rain date is scheduled for June 9.
