NE Ski Museum Opens North Conway Branch

March 3, 2018

Have you visited the New England Ski Museum in Franconia, NH?  It’s located at the base of Cannon Mountain near the tram, and it’s worth a special trip.  The NESM just opened a second location in North Conway, the Eastern Slope branch.

The museum’s mission is to share the history of skiing in New England.  It’s fitting for this Olympics year that the museum is also honoring New England’s 170 or so winter Olympians, including Waterville Valley Resort founder and 2-time Olympic ski racer, Tom Corcoran.

The 2,801-square-foot building is chock-a-block full of ski history.

There’s an article about the Eastern Slope branch of the NESM’s grand opening in the Conway Daily Sun.
