NH SWAT Training in Waterville Valley

August 13, 2013

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Waterville Valley Elementary School and Recreation Department campus will be used by NH SWAT for a day of training exercises.  Please do not be alarmed by the police presence and coordinated activities in Waterville Valley during these training exercises!

While the Rec. Dept. will still offer summer day camp (as it is field trip day, and campers and staff will be off-site), the Rec. Dept. has cancelled all day-time activities at the Recreation Department.  This includes cancellation of the regularly-scheduled ‘Open Gym’ and ‘Craft & Stitch Hour.’

The Rec. Dept. will resume regularly-scheduled programs on Wednesday evening, August 14, with ‘Open Basketball’ at 4:30 p.m., ‘Ice Cream Social’ at 7 p.m., and ‘Open Gym’ at 7 p.m.

The Rec. Dept. offers apologies for any inconvenience to this causes residents and guests, and appreciates everyone’s understanding and support.
