Nordic Olympian Kris Freeman will host an open clinic for intermediate and advanced Nordic skiers and speak about his career this weekend.
Kris will make an appearance in Waterville Valley in between training and preparing for his four Olympic appearance for the United States at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. As a competitor on the world stage for more than a decade, Kris excels in long distances. H won a World Championship in the 30km and is the three time reigning National Champion in the 50km.
“I began skiing at Waterville Valley when I was four years old. When I grew up, I moved as close to the mountain as I could because it is still my favorite place in the world to ski. I am grateful to Waterville Valley for running such an awesome facility and for all of their support.”
