Paper Mache Workshop

Learn how to create your own paper mache sculpture with local artist Don Hundgen beginning on June 21, 2012.  The workshop will be held at the Curious George Cottage on Noon Peak Road in Waterville Valley.

The workshop will be held over the course of two weeks to allow drying time.  Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, June 19 from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 6-9 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, June 26, 6-9 p.m., and Thursday, June 28 from 6-9 p.m.

Hundgen will teach you how to turn balloons, recycled packaging, cardboard, and newspaper into masks, funny heads, turtles, elephants, hats, helmets; whatever you dream up. The main objective is to have fun and learn a craft technique.

The cost is $100 per person ($85 for Rey Center members). All materials will be provided, but please bring a smock or wear old clothes.  The workshop is appropriate for adults and youth ages 15+.
