Pemi Chapter of Trout Unlimited Meeting

February 14, 2011

The January meeting of the Pemi Chapter of Trout Unlimited was cancelled due to a snowstorm.

The featured speaker, David Poole, a licensed New Hampshire Fishing Guide and owner of Stinson Mountain Outfitters LLC, was rescheduled to the February meeting, which will be held tomorrow – Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at The Common Man, Route 3, Plymouth, NH.  This meeting is open to the public.

Mr. Poole’s program for the evening will focus on land navigations, specifically the use of maps, compasses, and GPS to aid in finding and recording specific fishing and hunting locations.  Attendees are welcome to bring their own GPS devices for help with specific issues, as time allows.

Mr. Poole has lived and fished in New Hampshire for over 40 years. For the past 15 years he has primarily fly fished for trout and bass in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Idaho and Montana. He is a retired firefighter and EMT with 20 years experience as an instructor in technical rescue and backcountry operations. David is a member of the Pemigewasset Chapter of Trout Unlimited and a resident of Rumney.
