Tim Smith, Waterville Valley Resort’s General Manager, gave the Waterville Valley Realty team a personal tour of the Green Peak skiing expansion last week. We walked away with a renewed enthusiasm for this exciting project.

Tim Smith also led a guided informational hike to Green Peak over Columbus Day weekend. Over 100 people left their footprints on the top of the new Waterville Valley Peak!

A Facebook user recently asked whether there will be snowmaking on Green Peak. The resort responded, “Installing snowmaking on Green Peak is a part of this expansion, as phase 2. There simply isn’t enough time to get it all done this year. With that said, the team recently took hold of an opportunity to get Fan Guns onto the green trail that will join the summit with Oblivion this year.”
Concrete is being poured this week. Check out this photo posted by Chase Melvin Shaw of the footings at the top terminal.
