Pick a Movie to Watch at Waterville Valley

February 14, 2018

If you can believe it, some of us are already thinking ahead to summer (what?…say it ain’t so!).  The past two summers Waterville Valley Recreation Department has hosted a FREE outdoor movie on Corcoran Pond Beach over the Fourth of July holiday.  It’s a fun, family-friendly evening open to the public – and it has been super popular.

Nelson Brown (Assistant Recreation Director) and Brooke Wakefield (Recreation Director) are working on the Rec. Dept.’s activities and events schedule for summer 2018.  They want to know what movie you want to watch at the “Movie on the Beach” night in July.

 – Coco
 – Star Wars: The Last Jedi
 – Ferdinand
 – The Sandlot
 – Trolls

Email Nelson Brown at the Recreation Department and let him know which of the above movies you, your friends and family would like watch.

If you’re reading this and you’re a Waterville Valley winter-only person, then I strongly recommend you check us out in summertime.  Waterville Valley isn’t just a wintertime community.  We have a full slate of activities, events and outdoor recreation all summer long.  Things like:  golf, tennis, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, pedal boating, hiking, fishing, mountain and street cycling, disc golf, climbing wall, bungee-tramp, kids day camp, concerts, festivals…and the list goes on.  If you love us in white, you’ll love us just as much in green!
