PigPens Fun

December 24, 2012

I always wondered why ice cream shops closed in the wintertime.  Sure, it’s cold out and the temps aren’t really conducive to sitting at a picnic table while licking an ice cream cone.  But, c’mon, who doesn’t like ice cream year ’round?!

PigPens, one of Waterville Valley Town Square’s newest shops, offers ice cream and candy lovers – the two really go hand-in-hand, don’t you think? – the opportunity to enjoy both all year long.

PigPens is located in the space formerly occupied by Mountains of Chocolate.  The owners have expanded and renovated, creating an old-fashioned ice cream and soda fountain.  And, just like the olden days, they serve up your favorite sweet treats.  Who cares if it’s too cold to eat your ice cream outdoors?  PigPens has plenty of room for you to sit, relax and enjoy.

The PigPens crew has planned some fun activities over the holiday week.

Wednesday, Dec. 26 – Buy anything in the store, get half off the second item!

Thursday, Dec. 27 – Create your own candy hut for just $5!

Friday, Dec. 28 – Enjoy up to THREE FREE ice cream toppings!

Saturday, Dec. 29, 1-4 p.m. – Mario Cart Wii Tournament!  Must sign up by Friday, Dec. 28.

Sunday, Dec. 30 – It’s Sunday Sundaes! Get $1 off any sundae!

You can reach PigPens at 603-236-3301.
