Local resident Ken Little is the Rey Cultural Center’s featured speaker on Friday, Aug. 9, from 6-7 p.m. Ken will be at the Curious George Cottage talking about parenting and a supportive approach to working with children’s struggles.
Ken has a master’s degree in School Psychology and twenty-five years of professional experience working with children, teens and families. He has worked effectively in a full spectrum of clinical settings including residential facilities, public schools, community mental and behavioral health programs, and as behavioral consulting. Ken also speaks from his own parenting practice as the father of two sons.
Ken is fully invested in teaching educators, staff and parents how to deescalate and solve problems that occur in emotionally charged situations.
