Resort Insider: April 19-May 11

April 19, 2019

Someone asked me why I bother to publish the Resort Insider in April and early May. The answer is simple. We are still living and working here. Not all residents have escaped to South Carolina or Florida for mud season. And folks intentionally book getaway vacations in Waterville Valley because, even in the wet, brown and muddy transformation from white to green, the mountains are still beautiful, it’s peaceful, relaxing and quiet, and you can’t beat the shoulder season lodging prices!

Here is the latest issue of the Resort Insider. Admittedly, there isn’t much on the calendar for the upcoming week, but you can still find some things to do in Waterville Valley — even if it means a walk around the village loop, taking a dip and steam at the Athletic Club, or picking up a good book to read at the Osceola Library or Bookmonger.
