Say Goodbye to Liz

January 16, 2014

The Waterville Valley Recreation Department will host an Ice Cream Social on Friday, Jan. 17 at 12:30 p.m. to say farewell to Liz Gibbs and wish her all the best with her new job. She will be working for Pemi Baker Community Health as their Aquatic Specialist, offering swim lessons, water fitness classes and community programming.

Liz started working at the Recreation Department as a summer day camp intern in 2005. She stayed on board after that summer as a general programmer.  From there she was promoted to the position of general program supervisor, and once the Rec. Dept. took over the waterfront operation she became Corcoran Pond waterfront supervisor.

Liz has worn many hats for the Rec. Department.  Rec. Dept. director, Rachel Gasowski, said, “I’m grateful for all of her hard work and dedication given to the department over her many years of service to the town and resort community.  Her positive attitude and “can do” approach to all that we do will truly be missed.”

Thumbs up to Liz Gibbs as she leaves Waterville Valley for a new job in Plymouth!
