Ski and Snowboard Swap

October 5, 2017

When my kids were young I looked forward to the WVBBTS Ski & Snowboard Swap that is held in Waterville Valley over Columbus Day weekend.  That’s when we’d go shopping for “new” ski wear and equipment.  My kids were none the wiser that our purchases were used, and they always looked pretty darn legit on the slopes!

Head to the Ski & Snowboard Swap on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Don’t miss out on the bargains and an opportunity to outfit your kids or yourself.  And it’s your chance to sell your used winter gear.

Clay Soper Memorial Bike Ride

Also this weekend, on Saturday, Oct. 7, WVBBTS is hosting the 2nd Annual Waterville Valley Bike Ride in memory of Clay Soper.  Registration for the ride starts at 12:45 p.m. at Snows Mountain.  Cyclists will depart at 1 p.m.  This year’s route is a 28-mile out-and-back to Owl’s Nest Resort.  Entry is free, although donations to the WVBBTS Clay Soper Scholarship Fund will be greatly appreciated. All riders will receive a free beverage from Mulligan’s after the ride.
