I was in a meeting last Wednesday morning with other Waterville Valley business stakeholders and someone said that despite our best marketing efforts she hears folks from out of town say, “There’s nothing to do in Waterville Valley…”
In the words of Liz Lemon, What the what?! I think all of us wanted to pull our hair out and scream in frustration. Waterville Valley may not be teeming with big box stores, fast food restaurants and video arcades, but it’s hardly boring with nothing to do.
It seems particularly timely that when I returned to my office after the meeting, I discovered a just-published post by Caroline Morse of Smarter Travel, “How to do a Weekend in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.”
Caroline writes, “Waterville Valley is all about the outdoors.” Read her post to get a sampling of what there is to do in Waterville Valley.
And THANK YOU, Caroline, for putting into writing a sampling of what Waterville Valley has to offer during the warm weather months. And, a shout out to my fellow Waterville Valley fans … please join me in being a marketer of Waterville Valley. Help spread the good word about our favorite mountain resort community.
