There are some spooky activities brewing in the Waterville Valley Region this October thanks to the arrival of the new Valley Witch Festival.
During the month of October, witches and warlocks will sweep down Route 49 through Campton, Thornton and Waterville Valley for a witch tour. Local community members and businesses will display custom, handmade witches at designated businesses in the three communities along Route 49. Stop by Community Guaranty Savings Bank, King Realty, Mad River Coffee House, Moriarty Property Management Services, Mad River Tavern, Woodpeckers, and the Visitor Information Center to tour the display of witches and cast your vote for the best witch in town!
The final spooktacular will take place on October 25 & 26 in Waterville Valley. Weekend festivities include dancing with the Lakes Region Big Band at a Masquerade Ball, gazing into the future at the Mystical Extravaganza, being entranced under a hypnotic spell at the Legendary Brewgala with comedic hypnotist Frank Santos, and children’s activities at the Waterville Valley Recreation Department.
