Storm has ski areas shouting for joy

The following is excerpted from an article in today’s Citizen online.

For local ski areas, the Nor’easter that blew into central New Hampshire Sunday night couldn’t have come at a better time, being at the start of the holiday school vacation week.

Deb Moore, marketing director for Waterville Valley Ski Resort, said on Monday afternoon that the mountain received approximately 9 inches of fresh snow and more flakes continued to fall.
