Synchronized Skating Champs in Waterville Valley

August 19, 2013

If you were in Town Square last weekend, you may have seen a very distinctive group of girls dressed in black unitards.  I had many visitors asking, “Who are they and what are they doing here?”

They are very accomplished young women members of the Hayden Synchronized Skating teams and they have been training right here at the Waterville Valley Ice Arena.

The Lexettes (Junior) have been in Waterville Valley since Aug. 14 and depart today.  The Lexettes won a Bronze Medal at the US National Championships at the Junior level in 2012.  They look forward to representing the United States in the Spring Cup in Milan, Italy this year.
