Tai Chi at the Recreation Department

Tai Chi is returning to Waterville Valley.  The Recreation Department will host a 10-week session on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Oct. 9 and running through Dec. 18 (no class on Nov. 6).  The class is designed for all ability levels and no special equipment or clothing is needed.

The class will be led by Dana Buck who studies under the renowned third generation Tai Chi grand master, Tung Kai Ying. Dana teaches “Yang” style long form and other traditional Tai Chi forms including qi gong and sword. Dana has been practicing Tai Chi for over 25 years and has been teaching Tai Chi in the Boston area since 2003. Her instruction emphasizes proper body alignment, relaxation and mindfulness.
