T’ai Chi is Back

T’ai Chi is returning to the Waterville Valley Recreation Department for a 10-week session starting on Tuesday, Jan. 8. This class is designed for everyone of all fitness levels and abilities.  No special equipment or clothing is needed.

Class will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. every Tuesday from Jan. 8 through Mar. 26 (no class on Feb. 19 or Mar. 12). The 10-week session costs $100 ($90 with a Native ID).  Want to try before you buy?  You can drop-in on Jan. 9 for $15. If you like it, the $15 will be applied to the cost of the 10-week session.  Talk to Brooke or Nelson for more details – 603-236-4695.

A minimum of four people are needed to hold the class, so please sign-up online now if you haven’t already done so. 

Class will be taught by Viki Kiman who began studying T’ai Chi in 1985. She is now a senior student of Grandmaster Tung Kai Ying. Before moving to New Hampshire, Viki lived in New York City where she trained in karate and women’s self defense, and earned her black belt. Viki has taught children, college students, seniors, and people of all abilities. She is happy to share her love of T’ai Chi, and welcomes opportunities to demonstrate and teach.
