Tecumseh Overnights are back! Hosted by the Rey Center, Tecumseh Overnights offer you the chance to spend the night at the Schwendi Hutte (right) atop Mt. Tecumseh and learn about mountain climate and ecology and enjoy some stargazing.
The first overnight of the summer season is this Saturday, July 16, with a group departure from the Curious George Cottage at 2 p.m.
The Rey Center will guide hikers up Mt. Tecumseh, learning about mountain climate and ecology as you make your up the ski slope. You’ll spend the night at the Schwendi Hutte, where you’ll be served dinner and star watch!
The program starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 16. Meet at the Curious George Cottage (7 Noon Peak Road). Return time is at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 17.
Tecumseh Overnights is appropriate for adults and families with children ages 8+. The cost is $45 per Rey Center member, $55 per non-member and includes guided hike, evening program, lodging, dinner and breakfast.
