Here’s just a sampling of what’s in store for you at Waterville Valley, NH:

Friday March 4th kicks off the weekend with…

•    Burton Demos on the mountain all day, for riders who want to try the latest, greatest creations from one of the premier board makers in the world
•    Kids of all ages will enjoy the Curious George Story & Craft Hour from 11 am-12 pm, and then again from 4 to 5 pm at the Curious George Cottage
•    Rey Center Gallery is open in Town Square all weekend featuring paintings and photography from three talented local artists
•    The Recreation Department has Open Gym (1-3 pm), Open Basketball (3:30-5:30 pm) and Floor Hockey (starts at 6 pm)
•    Get the blood moving with Zumba at the White Mountain Athletic Club from 4-5 pm on Friday and 4:30 pm on Saturday
•    WJYY Amstel Light Party starts at 2:30 pm at the T-Bars

For Friday early birds, there’s a great deal…the first 105 JYY listeners to show up at the lift ticket office at 8:30 am, get to ski & ride for $10!

Saturday March 5th continues the fun with…

•    Guided Hike to Hedgehog Mt. to enjoy the beauty of the quiet winter landscape
•    Coffee & Birds from 8-10 am at the Curious George Cottage serves up good coffee and good conversation while watching & counting the winged friends visiting the feeders outside the cottage
•    Burton Demos continue on the mountain all day
•    Burton Amateur Series Superpipe on the mountain…registration from 7:30-9 am, competition begins at 10:15 am
•    Public Skating at the Indoor Ice Arena, 10:45 am-12 pm and 6-7:15 pm
•    The Recreation Department offers family fun ALL day with…Tot Open Gym from 10 am-12 pm, Storybook Creations from 10:30-11:45 am, Open Gym from 1-3 pm, Paint Your Own Pottery from 2:30-3:30 pm, Open Basketball from 3:30-5:30 pm, and Kids Night Out from 7-9 pm (pre-registration req’d)
•    Mardis Gras Apres Ski Party with Captain Morgan from 2-5 pm at T-Bars
•    Apres Ski Party with Burton & Red Bull at Buckets from 1:30-5 pm
•    Starry Nights Dinner on the mountain
•    Curious George Cottage features a Literary Discussion Group from 4:30-6:30 and Dark Sky Stargazing from 6:30-8:30 pm
•    Tubing on the Mountain (walk up..slide down!) from 5:30-9:30 pm…tickets are available at Top Dog Ski Rentals
•    Live Music with the Bob King Duo at Diamonds Edge North Restaurant from 8-10 pm

Sunday March 6th rounds off the weekend with…

•    NH Special Olympics begin (and run till Tuesday, March 8th)
•    A last chance to demo Burton boards
•    Burton Slopestyle Competition on the mountain…registration from 7:30-9 am, competition begins at 10:15 am
•    Brunch at the Fireside Deli at the Sunnyside Timberlodge from 10:30 am – 1 pm
•    Public Skating at the Indoor Ice Arena, 10:45 am-12 pm and 4-6 pm
