The Skinny on Opening Day

November 22, 2013

It’s official … opening day for Waterville Valley ski resort is Saturday, Nov.  23!  The snowmaking gurus have been making snow all week and there’s been enough natural snowfall so they can open three trails starting at 8 a.m. Who do you think will make first chair?!

The White Peaks Quad will whisk you up to the High Country lift.  Open trails will include Main Street and Ruthie’s Run, as well as The Pasture for beginner terrain, serviced by the J-Bar.  You know the drill:  It’s November in New Hampshire, so expect early season terrain.

Lift ticket prices for Saturday are $35 for adults, $25 for college and teens and $15 for youths and seniors.

The Marketplace, T-Bars, and Schwendi Hutte will all be open for food and beverage service.
