Theatre Build Weekend

June 1, 2012

Theatre Under The Stars/Shakespeare in the Valley is looking for volunteers on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 & 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help build the theatre’s new outdoor stages.

The weather forecast isn’t looking pretty — but, as they say in show biz — the show must go on.  Below is a note from the the folks at the theatre with an update…

Just wanted to let you all know that despite the weather that is moving in, our build days will not be postponed. There will be awnings up to cover any tools and the food that is being made by some of our volunteers. It will be comparatively chilly as well so bring some waterproof boots and a rain jacket. Mother Nature will not keep us down, the stages will be built and our big tent will go up this weekend! We realize that this might dampen the enthusiasm of some of you who have volunteered but we hope to see you out there at least for some of the time to lend a hand. Thank you in advance for all your support.
