Twilight Scramble Results

June 22, 2012

Friday night Twilight Scramble is in full swing at Waterville Valley Golf Course.  On Friday, June 15, first place honors (with a 29) went to the foursome of John Perkins, Jim Phillips, Birdie Britton and Julie Perkins.  Second place honors were determined by a chip-off on #9 with the team of Steve Bourdeau, Doug Thompson and Nick Benson winning (30).  Third place went to David Britton, Father Lynch, Sandy Campbell and Peter Thompson.  Jim Phillips won closest-to-the-pin on hole #4 (45’ from the pin) for men.  There was no winner in the women’s bracket.  Birdie Britton won the longest drive contest on hole #8.  There was no winner in the men’s bracket.

Plan on heading to the Golf Course tonight for Twilight Scramble.  Tee off is at 5:30 p.m. followed by a potluck supper.  Bring along a dish to share!

Call the clubhouse to sign-up before 4 p.m.  All are welcome to play – regardless of ability level!  This is a casual, fun scramble.  603-236-4805.

Golf Course staffer Steve Bourdeau is so anxious to move his team into first place, I caught him practicing his swing in the clubhouse while he was “working!”
