WVAIA volunteer Dan Newton led a hike up Webster Slide Mountain on Saturday, June 9.  A small group carpooled down to the Rt. 25 trailhead and enjoyed a 6 mile round trip hike up and down the Wachipauka Pond and Webster Slide trails.

My son Tyler snapped some pics from the rocky ledges of Webster Slide (2184′).  Enjoy!

Residue from the hardworking woodpecker - it looked like someone had carved out chunks with a chainsaw!
